Paper Size- 5x7 inches
This is a handprinted, open edition lino print of a strange tasting wild berry bush: the Gooseberry. The art is printed with professional quality ink on warm toned, handmade Lokta paper.
This print is based strongly on a specimen I collected when I was 11. Of course I didn't say where I collected it, or even if it was a shrub. There's a good chance that this little twig is from the gooseberry bush by the house. For a couple consecutive years I would try eating a berry, hoping maybe my taste had changed. I still don't like them.
