Wild Iris #5
I love art styles that use flowers and foliage as a starting point, but further design the subject while remaining true to it. I normally stay very close to how I see the subject, but to change things up I tried my hand at a symmetrical art nouveau style.
I used photos I took of Louisiana wild irises as my reference.

Due to differences in screen settings, colors may appear slightly different from the image on your device.
As I mix my inks fresh for each batch, colors may vary slightly between prints. This is part of the handcrafting process, making each print one-of-a-kind!

I recommend framing your print with a sheet of acid-free white paper behind it to enhance the appearance of the print. The transparency of the paper benefits from light filtering through, adding a dynamic quality to the artwork.
Every print is carefully packaged with a sturdy backer to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition.
