American Frogbit (Green)

This little floating aquatic plant is printed with oil based inks on handmade lokta paper. It is a two block print.

This print is based on a plant I photographed in Louisiana. I like the shape of the leaf, the veins, and the spots.

The colors are inspired by a dead lily pad I found and pressed years ago.
